What happens at the Cosmetic/Facial Acupuncture Treatment?

Clients are advised to wear loose clothing, so access to acupuncture points on the body, arms or legs is unhindered. New clients need to download a Health Questionnaire and Informed Consent Form - fill in as much as possible, then bring it along to the first appointment.

While in Cosmetic acupuncture/Facial acupuncture, the points on the face enhances our "outer" beauty; needling additional acupuncture points (usually on the arms or legs) benefits "inside". This is a holistic approach: beautify the exterior and tend to the interior influences.

A course of 10 cosmetic acupuncture/Facial acupuncture treatments are administered either weekly or twice a week - this is the standard protocol. After the first treatment there can be very noticeable sensation, however, the best effect can be noticed after the 4th treatment. The results are cumulative, therefore by the 10th treatment session you can return 9 months later for another course. Alternatively, you can opt for a monthly maintenance which is most preferable to keep yin yang health and beauty.

You do not need to book a whole of 10 treatments if you do not want to, instead you can book one session as you go.

The Goal
Using special small fine sterile disposable needles, which we will insert them into the dermal layer of the skin. The goal is to stimulate the body's natural production of collagen and elastin by causing a tiny 'micro trauma' to the facial tissue. Body points are used to balance internal health which in effect assist and maintain wonderful facial rejuvenation.
